ConversionTools is a free, ad-supported technical conversion-rate optimization scanner. By using the site you agree to these terms. The service is provided "as is" without warranties, you are responsible for the domains you choose to scan, and we are not liable for damages arising from use of the tool.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of conversiontools.com and any related services (the "Service"), operated by ConversionTools ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

ConversionTools lets you enter a domain name and receive a technical report covering:

- Website uptime and HTTPS/redirect configuration (simple scan). - Email authentication records — SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX, MTA-STS, BIMI — and mobile Core Web Vitals (deep scan).

The Service is provided free of charge. No account is required to run a scan. We support the Service through advertising and affiliate links, as described below.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not impair the rights, safety, or legitimate interests of others. In particular, you agree that you will:

- Scan only domains you own, control, or have been authorized to test. Scanning a domain is a non-intrusive read of its public DNS and HTTP configuration, but you remain responsible for ensuring you are entitled to test it. - Not attempt to overload, disable, or disrupt the Service or the infrastructure it relies on, including by automating scans at a volume or frequency that could be considered abusive. - Not use the Service to gather information for unauthorized purposes, to harass, or to support any illegal activity. - Not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the Service's source code or internal logic beyond what is necessary to use the website normally.

We may limit the number or frequency of scans from a given source to protect the Service and may block access that violates these Terms.

ConversionTools does not currently require an account to run scans. If we introduce accounts in the future, you will be responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. We may suspend access if we believe an account has been compromised or used in violation of these Terms.

ConversionTools is ad-supported. The Service may display advertising served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense, and may include affiliate links. If you purchase a product through an affiliate link, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

Important disclosures:

- Advertising partners set and read their own cookies to serve and measure ads; their practices are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not these Terms. - Editorial scan results and fix recommendations are generated independently of any advertiser or affiliate partner. Advertising and affiliate relationships do not influence the findings shown for a scanned domain. - We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or for the products or services advertised, nor for any transactions you enter into with advertisers.

Scan results reflect the public configuration of a domain at the moment the scan ran. DNS records, HTTP headers, and page-speed measurements can change frequently, and results may be affected by caching, third-party resolvers, regional differences, or temporary network conditions.

You should not rely on a single scan as a definitive statement of a domain's configuration or security posture. For critical decisions, verify findings directly and re-scan after making changes. The fix guides provided link to general instructions and may need to be adapted to your specific hosting provider or email setup.

The Service — including its design, text, guides, graphics, and software — is owned by ConversionTools and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and use the Service for your own internal purposes.

You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from the Service's content without our written permission, except that you may share links to individual pages. The domain names you submit are your own; we claim no ownership over them or over the public technical records returned by a scan.

The Service links to external websites and services, including fix guides that reference third-party documentation and tools. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT SCAN RESULTS ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR UP TO DATE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL CONVERSIONTOOLS, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE.

BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ConversionTools and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights — including scanning a domain you were not authorized to test.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Because no account is required, termination generally means blocking the source of abusive activity.

You may stop using the Service at any time. The provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except to the extent mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us in good faith to resolve the dispute. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. Where local law gives you a right to bring a claim in your local courts, nothing here overrides that right.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle the domain you scan and any information collected. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy on the subject of data, the Privacy Policy controls.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ConversionTools regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a right or provision is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them freely in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
